The Roll Model® Therapy Balls can be used as an adjunct offering within yoga classes, personal training sessions, Pilates, dance, wellness coaching, massage therapy, or with kids and special needs populations.
This training equips you to:
· Maintain your body and prevent injuries using self-care strategies with the Roll Model® Therapy Balls.
· Identify bony landmarks, muscular attachments, and fascia geography to enhance your teaching and personal daily practice.
· Deepen your understanding of pain physiology and how to use the Roll Model® Balls to erase pain.
· Lead classes through step-by step, proven, whole-body exercises, approved by physical therapists, pain medicine specialists, and chiropractors, that can affect positive changes in the rotator cuff, spine, neck, jaw, hips, IT band, calves, and feet.
Use this training to learn strategies for your own health and maintenance, or incorporate Roll Model® Therapy Ball sequences into your teaching toolkit by introducing embodied anatomy concepts to your students.

Definition of harbor:
– a place of security and comfort
– a part of a body of water protected and deep enough to furnish anchorage
The yoga practice offers each one of us the opportunity to anchor our attention into our minds, bodies and hearts. Each pose offers the possibility to journey within because of their endless opportunity for refinement. In this workshop, we will utilize the outer expressions of the poses to explore the deep vastness within. Detailed alignment cues ask us to look deep inside and discover our capacity.
Sam Rice believes it takes consistent and dedicated practice to stay anchored in the heart, and some days are easier than others. In the spirit of shared intention please join Sam Rice for a weekend of detailed alignment to focus the mind, open and strengthen the body, and express the heart fully. Sam is known for her diligent and detailed alignment instructions, that are delivered with great skill, passion, and humor, offering students the opportunity to find renewed depth in practice.

Sam Rice, E-RYT 500, is a dedicated student and practitioner of yoga first and foremost. This fuels her passion for teaching. Sam has been practicing yoga since 2000, and teaching since 2006. Sam is known for her diligent and detailed alignment instructions, that are delivered with great skill, passion, and humor, offering students the opportunity to find renewed depth in practice. Sam primarily studies and works closely with Christina Sell. Sam also studies and co-teaches with Darren Rhodes, founder of yogahour®. Sam Rice is the Lead Teacher Trainer for yogahour and has designed the yogahour 200-hour Teacher Training curriculum that is used throughout studios nationwide. Sam Rice also leads 300-hour Advanced Teacher Trainings. She teaches as a guest teacher in numerous other 200-hour and 300-hour teacher trainings.
Sam resides in Tucson, Arizona with her wife Rachel King, Owl the cat, and Tortuga the desert tortoise. Besides yoga, Sam’s favorite activities are being outside floating down a river in whatever craft is available and snowboarding down any mountain she can get to that has snow. She also believes one of the most valuable things in life is laughter and good company.
