Journey deep into authentic India, both ancient and modern. In this unique sight and sounds tour we will experience the cultural, spiritual and scenic diversity of North India on a journey that opens our senses — and our hearts — to all North India has to offer. Together we will explore the ancient and contemporary, the grand and the humble. We will travel from the fashionable, cosmopolitan city of New Delhi to India’s oldest holy city of Varanasi, behold the iconic Taj Mahal — one of the seven wonders of the world — venture thru ancient bazaars, and everything in between.

Join Aerial Yoga Boerne on an expertly crafted tour through India’s most treasured sights!  A fantastic short adventure to the icons of northern India. We will tour royal palaces, sample the sumptuous cuisine and take rickshaw rides through narrow ancient lanes.

An experienced guide will accompany us throughout the journey, and we will have additional local “inside” guides in each city.  Our own private drivers and buses will escort us to each location and our hotels will be 4/5 star rated!  Restaurants will be selected for the quality as well as hygiene.  Space is limited to 13.

DAY 1  – Depart from the USA, Friday, March 10, 2017


DAY 2 – Arrive Delhi, Saturday, March 11, 2017

Arrive at the capital of India.  On arrival and after clearing immigration and customs you will met and transferred to the hotel. There are no activities planned for the rest of the day so you are free to explore the bustling capital city. Overnight stay at hotel.


DAY 3 – Delhi, Sunday, March 12, 2017

This morning your tour takes you to Old Delhi. See the Red Fort, a symbol of Mughal power. Experience Chandni Chowk (old shopping street) & visit the Jama Masjid Mosque area. At Chandni Chowk take an auto rickshaw ride in the congested market area. On return, visit Raj Ghat, a memorial of the great Mahatma Gandhi. Afternoon sightseeing tour of New Delhi. Designed in 1911 by the British, New Delhi is one of the greenest capitals in the world. Your tour includes visit to the impressive QutabMinar, a 234-foot sandstone tower, and Humayun`s tomb, a predecessor to the famous Taj Mahal. Later, drive past the government buildings and presidential palace along the broad and majestic Rajpath.  Overnight stay at hotel.


DAY 4 Delhi – Agra, Monday, March 13, 2017

On arrival in Agra check in at the hotel. Proceed for sightseeing of the Taj Mahal. Next visit the important 16th- century Mughal monument known as the Red Fort of Agra. This powerful fortress of red sandstone encompasses, within its 2.5- km-long enclosure walls, the imperial city of the Mughal rulers.  Overnight at the hotel


Day 5 – Agra – Jaipur, Tuesday, March 14, 2017

This morning drive to Jaipur visiting en route Fatehpur Sikri  (one hour from Agra), the once-fabled Mogul capital that has taken on a sleeping beauty quality, lying quietly but wonderfully preserved. After visit drive onward to Jaipur.  Upon arrival, check in at hotel.  Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight at the hotel


Day 6 Jaipur, Wednesday, March 15, 2017

After breakfast visit the Amber Fort arriving on elegantly caparisoned elephants, we approach the palace in the traditional way. Amber was once the ancient capital of Jaipur. Afternoon sightseeing tour of Jaipur city; We visit Jantar Mantar, an observatory which is equipped with instruments of astonishing size and precision. See the Hawa Mahal or Palace of Winds, a major Rajput landmark built in 1799. This five-story building in the old city is a pink sandstone masterpiece with semi-octagonal and delicately honeycombed windows. Evening proceed for an ethnic evening at the Choki Dhani with Rajasthani traditional dinner. Overnight at the hotel.


Day 7 Jaipur – Mumbai – Varanasi, Thursday, March 16, 2017

Breakfast at hotel Transfer to the domestic airport for a flight to Mumbai.  On arrival in Mumbai proceed for a short tour of the city.  Return for flight to Varanasi. Overnight at hotel.


Day 8 Varanasi, Friday, March 17, 2017

Early in the morning visit various Ghats by Boats on River Ganges the holy river of great importance, view sunrise on the Ganges

Breakfast at hotel.  Proceed in the morning to visit Sarnath, where  Buddha first taught the Dharma.   After visit of Sarnath proceed on a  Varanasi City tour  by Auto Rickshaws  visiting the Golden Temple: Varanasi’s most sacred shrine.  Later proceed to attend the evening Ganga Aarti (PRAYER CEREMONY) at the Dashashwamedh ghat, – observe the rituals from a boat on the Ganges.  Overnight at hotel.


Day 9  Varanasi – Khajuraho, Saturday, March 18, 2017

On arrival in Khajuraho you will be met and transferred to the Hotel.  Rest of the day at leisure.  Overnight at hotel.


Day 10  Khajuraho – New Delhi, Sunday, March 19, 2017

Breakfast at hotel.  Morning sightseeing of the temples of Khajuraho. The Khajuraho Group of Monuments is a group of Hindu and Jain temples. The temples are famous for their Nagara-style architectural symbolism and their erotic sculptures. Later in the afternoon transfer to the airport to connect your flight to New Delhi.


On arrival in Delhi you will be met and transferred to a hotel in Delhi for wash and change and farewell dinner. After dinner you will be transferred back to the international airport for your flight back home.
